This is another fantastic performance from Fiona Thraille in the lead protagonist role of Rosa / Gilda - we decided to record both as we couldn't decide which way round to play it to make the most of our own performance skills and where we 'fit' together ...and thought the characters could also be one and the same person...and also.... why not!?

Emily C. A. Snyder

 Emily is one of Sarah's favourite writers, EVER IN THE WORLD - and hopefully now one of yours too!

This exciting audio collaboration came about due to a social media discussion somewhen, somehow, wherein these names - ROSA AND GILDA - were mentioned, and from vague recollection, Sarah mooted Emily should write these characters....and thus...they were borrnn AND HERE WE ARE. ARE WE? YES WE ARE.

Emily wrote the BRILLIANT HERE piece for QUARALOGUES EPISODE ONE and I truly hope to produce more of her amazing literary awesome.

I think many many many of us can identify with the....peek from behind the curtain bit...and aren't brave enough to actually...step out. So. I guess this is Sarah's audio 'step out' to share something she's proud of working on, and assebled the grooviest team to make happen.

We did live foley in the recording of the Rosa / Gilda lines, each having some 'tart' a cup and 'pearl' and having a go at sword fight miming outside of our 'booths' - if my neighbours could have seen me, they'd think I was loopier than I am.

Such fun to include the wonderful Lara Parker in this joyous audio adventure - and yes, if you follow any Quirky Voices shows you will recognise Lara as Gabby (Gobby Gabby right!?) in Anyone F'Coffee released last year.

WENDY LAP

Wendy jumped in with both feet and created some wonderful - (Wendyful?!) walla and sound effects for this production as well playing the well-kicked, groaning, not-quite-dead Horatio with aplomb!

Sarah is in the cast of Cyclone with Wendy, Fiona and Erika and couldn't resist utilising her superb Scottish accent alongside Fiona M's in this audio Funtime.

 Sarah has been excited to employ Fiona on this project, having met when Fiona came to join her Quirky Voices Voice Acting course of audio joy last year.

​You may well have heard Fiona being simply amazing on QUARALOGUES episodes in December, and I hope on many more Quirky fun times!

ENGLISH AMBASSADOR

Sarah first encountered the ABSOLUTE LEGENDARY BRILLIANCE of Erika's talent in ....2005?2004? When they both did a course on workshop leading for the Wildcard Theatre Company, where Sarah went on to work as Education Co-ordinator, and employed and worked with Erika who was off being a proper actor!

Many years later, Sarah remains inspired and in awe of Erika's many voices, and is yet to find a groovy project to play some mmmoooore together somewhen, so, any writers wanting that challenge, please.....DOIT! Fanks.
